Erudhalion First Cup of Ubuntu Join Date: Nov 2009 Beans: 1	KDE says soundcard has been removed Hi. I installed kubuntu 9.10 a few weeks ago and the other day I compiled the alsa drivers hoping to get the microphonr yo work. I compiled the alsa-drivers, alsa-lib and alsa-utils no problem and the sound worked fine until I reeboted, when I got this message saying that the soundcard had been removed. Can anyone help? I'm running an HP dv6 with an Intel HDA STAC92.
