    Screen capture software

    Hi
Can anyone recommend screen capture software (video) for ubuntu 9.04? I want something similar to CamStudio (windows), offering selectable region of interest and stereo audio capture from speakers.
I don't really mind what codec it uses as I'll be editing the file later.

    Thanks!

Oh, btw - needs to be opensource or free software.

Thanks. I've now had the chance to play with these a bit, but I'm struggling....

    like : recoredMydesktop
    : zscreen

RecordMyDesktop looked very promising, but there is no sound recorded. I have set up my audio so that I can use sound recorder to record what's coming through the speakers (and, OMG that's not simple is it! One point to Windows on that one...) but I haven't found how to enable RMD to use this audio.
Zscreen and Shutter look like they are just still frame capture tools.
Wink looks like it might be good for teaching PC use, but not for recording movie-type video.
    Istanbul is also good.
Istanbul just hangs with no error while it writes to disk. I haven't found an workaround for this.
