    No CD Detected

I downloaded the ISO of 9.10 It took most of the day because of my slow connection.

I then used an ISO burning program and burned it to dvd. I then used my Vista to install Ubuntu--a warning came up and said that no CD was detected.

I booted the machine using the Ubuntu dvd, and it gives me the options of using the program without making changes, etc. I choose that option and nothing happens.

Do I need to redownload the ISO and then reburn it?

    thanks

    Don

As mentioned always burn at about 4X, also check the md5checksum

    https://help.ubuntu.com/community/HowToMD5SUM

If you have done both of those, it doesn't hurt to clean the cd-drive with a cd-drive cleaner cd/dvd.

    thanks to all who replied

I redownloaded the ISO using BitTorrent then burned it at a slower speed onto a DVD

    The result: Success!!!!!!
