Question MythTV on 8.10 - Mythbackend starts up in a wierd resolution

    Hi All:

I installed mythTV on my x86 32 bit ubuntu 8.10 box a few moths ago. At that time it was mostly experimental as the capture card i had was PVR-150, which is analog so its capture quality was quite low. Anyway, I did get to make it work, at which time I left it w/o any active use.

Yesterday, I installed a HVR-1250 card in this box, and when I fired up mythbackend to configure the card, I found that the screen resolution was such that I could only see the top half of the mythbackend screen, the lower part being off the screen of my LCD monitor. Can someone help me reset the resolution of the mythbackend GUI such that it becomes visible again? I will be truly grateful.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

    Thanks for looking!
