HowTo: Windows (XP) on Ubuntu with VMWare Server

and just did the patch part....

    wget http://www.insecure.ws/warehouse/vmw...5.5.7-2.tar.gz

    tar -xvzf vmware-update-2.6.27-5.5.7-2.tar.gz

    cd vmware-update-2.6.27-5.5.7-2

    ./runme.pl

no wait

i used the patch, then tried vmware-config.pl again, it was all perfect, it says that vmware was successfully

but when trying to run the program, a window appears and then closes
and with the terminal i get:
