I wanna boot Fedora 10 so I can install it near my Kubuntu OS to multiboot. However when I get to the cups past the 3 color loading screen it just seems to hang on the cups. what should I try ?

Fedora 10 always froze up on me to when trying to load it. I'd like to see a solution to your issue also.

Have you tested the CD for defects? Check the iso against the MD5 hash to see if it's alright. Maybe try to virtualise it to see if it works.
Sometimes it could be the simplest things.
The KDE image gave me troubles, but it was cause it was burned incorrectly, try checking the md5 or sha-1 of the CD or check the integrity of the disk.
Software should be smart, not clever
