[SOLVED] Deleting Windows Files from Knoppix via Netbooting

I have netbooted into Knoppix on my laptop (it is the only way I can boot any OS, CS/Floppy/USb is not an option) and to fix my Windows install I need to know how to delete some files that are on a Windows partition. It always says unable to delete them, but it doesn't say why I can't. Help?

Hm, I seemed to have figured it out. I had to right click it from the Desktop and change the read/write permissions. Problem solved for me it seems..
