Updated builds of MythTV are available by installing the mythbuntu-repos package. This thread is for questions, issues, etc about the mythbuntu-repos package or the build process itself. This is not the place to post bugs about mythtv or other related plugins.

For 12.04 and future releases this functionality if built in. You can enable it from the Mythbuntu Control Centre on the repos tab.

For releases prior to 12.04, please go to http://www.mythbuntu.org/repos for more information and to download the Mythbuntu Repos package.

Unfortunately it looks we need to discontinue trunk 0.22 builds for hardy. hardy doesn't have a new enough qt4 for them to work

Thats my bad. Hardy will not get 0.22 because of the QT4 requirement. Sorry about that. I've updated the OP and the webpage.

Oh. Ok.. i cant use Intrepid. My server just locks up with newer kernels. Thanks for 0.21-fixes.

No, they haven't and likely won't be anytime soon... Still evolving, unstable etc.

Well according to the devs it won't be backported...
It will be one of the features of .22(which hopefully won't take too long)

Where are the sources of the trunk packages located?

Unfortunately, the last release 19693 won't start on my machine and keep core-dumping...

So I'd like to get the sources and recompile them myself...

Edit: Found it on the UK mirror, for some reason, it isn't available on the US one

19639 starts fine on my 8.10 system. Can you post the terminal output when you try to start it? Are you on hardy or intrepid?
