    Unhappy [SOLVED] Linksys Problems

Hi. I'm a new Ubuntu user and have got to say that I'm sad to have to restart into XP to post this. You see, my Linksys Wireless-G pci network adapter with speedbooster doesn't yet work with Ubuntu. Having just installed Linux, I was not surprised by the many challenges i now faced. I used some trickery involving many many burned Cd's to get ndisgtk working and to install the old windows driver that works so well. I would love to be able to access the internet in Ubuntu, can anyone offer advice.

    btw, its model no. WMP54Gs

    Thank you in advance!

    Re: Linksys Problems

Cancer, I have the very same model, and had problems myself. I finally followed the advice at this site http://blog.roberthallam.org/2008/04...n-ndiswrapper/ and it worked right off! I hope it works just as well for you.
