ALT key doesnt function properly in Diablo 2

Hi, i've installed Diablo 2 in ubuntu, runs perfectly, except the ALT key doesnt function properly, you can press alt to see all the items on the ground but you can't pick them up for some reason while holding down the alt key, does anybody know how to fix this? I use crossover standard full to get it to work on ubuntu.

I am experiencing the same issue. If I figure out the solution I will let you know

Ubuntu 8.04, same issue started today using Wine 1.0

edit- fixed. go into wine cfg, graphics tab, uncheck "let window manager control"

i just changed the key to something else like the . key

You may also have problems if you are a kubuntu user with the alt key. In kubuntu, alt is set as the default key for some sort of shortcut. (Im sorry, Im at work right now, so I cant tell you where to change it, or what the keybinding is, only that it exists). In your system settings somewhere, you need to change the keybind for the alt key so that you can use it in diablo.
