This page: https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Wine is quite out of date. Most of the information on there is no longer needed, and some of it isn't clear.


Hardy now has Wine 1.0 available as an update. This makes things a LOT easier on a lot of users, especially since things like double clicking .exes should just work (.msi files is an exception, however, that should be fixed by Intrepid).

I gave an initial pass at the article, but there's a lot in there that can use improvement. Would anyone from the forums care to help?
