Battery saving feature?
I have an idea: On my Thinkpad T61, I want to have a feature where I press a button, and it dims the screen, lowers the cpu frequency, and goes into maximum power saving mode for when I'm simply listening to music or browsing the web.
Is this possible? Can I even "underclock" my cpu? I've been trying to improve my battery life but to no avail, my 4+ hours in vista translates to 2 hours in linux with ondemand governor.
