    cannot connect to wireless network

I upgraded to Heron from Gutsy and now I cannot connect to my wireless network. When I hover my mouse arrow over the connection icon it says "No network selection". Under manual configure the pop up window shows a wired and point to point connection but no wireless. Left clicking opens up the edit wireless network window and I can see my network but no way to connect to it. So, what do I do?
    Thanks
    Steve

You might want to tell us what wireless card u are using

The problem might be that the driver is not installed.

    I have a D-Link Extreme G DWL-G520 wireless ethernet card.

When I typed iwconfig in my terminal it said:

    steve@Ubuntu:~$ iwconfig
    lo no wireless extensions.

    eth0 no wireless extensions.

This worked fine under the previous Ubuntu. One of the last things Heron ask for before it finished upgrading was if I wanted to keep my old drivers and I clicked yes.

    Thank you for your help
    Steve
