Random space on my top bar

So I installed Hardy Heron last night and I played the game and got my nvidia card to work and all was well. However, I boot up today and now there's this large space between my power icon (to turn off and such) and my user name. Why is this there and how do I get rid of it? I included a screenshot.

So far I've restarted and nothing.

That's odd. Right-click on the icon. If "Lock to panel" is selected, deselect it. Right-click on the icon, and click move. You can re- lock the icon if you want.

Ha, thanks I didn't know I could move them like that (Ubuntu noob, could ya tell?) It worked flawlessly.
