Just Installed Hardy and my sound is not working, I've tried checking if it is muted but no luck there. Here is some info about my computer

I think the dial up modem is interfering with the sound. I've tried to disable it in BIOS but no setting in BIOS to disable it if anyone needs more info just ask I'll post what ever you need to help with this problem.
