Re: Getting the wirelesss to work on my macbook
What type of wifi card does your computer have?
(To find out: Boot into OS X, click apple on top left of screen, about this mac, click more info. In the new window click down to Airport Card and copy the first three lines into your post.) Also are you using 32 or 64 bit ubuntu?

Re: Getting the wirelesss to work on my macbook
I have the same problem. I tried following this wiki article to install the madwifi drivers, however neither method seems to work. I'm able to build and load the kernel driver modules, but I don't see any wireless interface named ath0.
![]() I'm using 8.04 x86_64. |

Re: Getting the wirelesss to work on my macbook
that article is for the MacbookPro which has a different card than the Macbook.
You need to determine your hadware version and follow the appropriate guide. https://help.ubuntu.com/community/MacBook
