Do i have to use the niswrapper?

I will need to use my wireless when i head back west, i was wondering what i need to get it working.

This is what i just got:

    brad@Brad:~$ iwconfig
    lo no wireless extensions.

    eth0 no wireless extensions.
Is this the right location for the wrapper?

    Windows Wireless Drivers
graphical frontend for ndiswrapper (installation of Windows WiFi drivers)
ndisgtk is a GTK+ based frontend for ndiswrapper, allowing an easy way to install Windows wireless drivers.

This is my card i believe: Broadcom Corporation BCM94311MCG wlan mini-PCI (rev 02)

Re: Do i have to use the niswrapper?

Looking over the Ubuntu site i came across this:

    https://help.ubuntu.com/8.04/interne...iswrapper.html

Does it matter where i save the inf file?

This might seem trivial to some of you guys but i want to make sure i have everything right because i made a big mess of my last distro.
