Hardy asks for boot disk on startup

I just installed Hardy on my macbook pro santa rosa. I used to have Gutsy on this machine (dual boot with Leopard), but I reformatted the linux partition, keeping the old swap partition and installing Hardy where gutsy used to be. I use refit to choose which OS to boot into.

After installing, if I choose to boot into Linux, I get an error notice that there is no boot disk, and I have to put my install disk in the disk drive in order to start up.

Can anybody tell me why my Hardy didn't seem to install a bootable OS? And what do I do to fix it?

    TIA

    Michael

Same problem, install goes fine, but it won't boot anything.
Same type error.. don't know what's going on, I'll try and fix it tomorrow.
