when i try to run conky, nothing happens.. i tried the default .conkyrc file or from the ones here.
Code:administrator@Linux-Home-Desktop:~$ conky Conky: forked to background, pid is 7194 administrator@Linux-Home-Desktop:~$ Conky: desktop window (a000cf) is subwindow of root window (1a5) Conky: window type - desktop Conky: drawing to created window (3a00001) Conky: drawing to double buffer
I've come back this time, but with a question I don't think I've head before. Is there a way to "set" conky from moving around. I'm doing a one-liner and every time the number jumps between single and double digits, it moves the whole line.
Yes, if youre using this line
maximum_width 200
Anyone who can tell me how to underline text?
Has anyone else had completely inaccurate battery readings from conky? My conky always disagrees with my battery icon on my laptop, and sometimes by a lot. The other day, conky told me 41 min left, and the battery icon said 19!
I wonder why the discrepancy.
In some cases, with monospace fonts, 'use_spacer yes' can work. Otherwise you could try aligning some right so they don't get affected by preceding variables. Good luck, it can be a b**** trying to get it to stay.
Anyway, here's mine:
