Signal from videocard is lost randomly
Hi everyone,
I just updated my old PC from 7.04 to 7.10 and now every so often my monitor acts like it's losing the signal from my Videocard. It's an Sapphire ATI Radeon 9250 PCI card. This didn't happen with 7.04. I might not be able to check back on any suggestions tonight, but they are greatly appreciated. Thanks, Matt |

Re: Signal from videocard is lost randomly
hi all,
So almost the same problem... I have a dualcore (AMD) XTX 1950 (ATI) 2G (Corsair) and a 250Go Sata HD. I just installed GutsyGibbon7.10. I've been through all bunch of modifications to get my installation work. Thanks to your posts i've been able to fix my "grub/launch" issue =) it took me a long time... So now it's working *proud of me* i've been looking for softwares. I ran the "update thing" and selected some applications/softwares to get them installed. After that a quick reboot (bad zindo$ reflex) and then everything goes well : start => grub => ubuntu GG7.10 starts (progress bar filling) => screen goes black and say "NO SIGNAL" ... =/ I've been looking for same posts and I found this one, so I hope i'm at the right place to write down my problem. thanks for your patience / dedication. I will help anytime i'm good enough for. (sorry for my mistakes i'm french=) |
