    third party mods steam/wine?

Ok, I have a new question. Lets say I wanted to play my favorite third party half-life 2 mods on steam/wine. Is this possible?

Oh. I expected the ones already in my steam account on my other computer to show up on the steam games menu on the ubuntu one for some reason. When I put steam on a new windows box I seem to remember them doing that.

Mods won't show up in Steam until you install them. Mods are not like Steam enabled games, they are not part of your Steam account, so they won't show up in a new Steam installation automatically.

If the applications are free, they won't turn up, Garry's mod costs money so that will.
