    Ubuntu Muslim Edition

I see that the Christian Edition inspired some muslim linuxers to make their own version of ubuntu. It has a built in prayer reminder and Quran study software, what do you guys think?

I can't wait to install it after my comp is finished.

LOL. That name has changed hands so many times. The Ubuntu Studio project gave it up at Mark S.'s request (we were using it 1st. ) for a embedded Ubuntu that wanted to call themselves Mµbuntu or µbuntu. Where the "µ" means "mu" or "micro".

In the end it was good to give the name up because all the *buntu names are getting a little tired to me.

I think it's very awesome that there is this possibility in the open source community.

Never know bro , Im neither Christian or Muslim but I am a believer, I find it awesome there are so many types of 'Ubuntu'. Do you know if there is a petition? Maybe the Ubuntu forums should add a section for people of faith to talk about pursuing religious flavors of Ubuntu . Including Christians,Jews,Muslims, Buddhists, Pagans or whoever....

Im also glad 'Ubuntu' allows us to make our own version , if not then it wouldn't be free .

    Peace
