    A Question To The Creators Of Ubuntu CE!

    how did u create an installable live cd?

    i ask because i have a nice setup that i'd like to make an installable live cd of so i can use or install it wherever without having to start all over again from the ubuntu cd.

    It's also worth exploring the Linux filesystem to find files that you can modify by hand. Reconstructor (and probably UCK as well) allow you to make changes to the Live CD image by hand, which means you can achieve a greater level of customisation.
    I try to treat the cause, not the symptom. I avoid the terminal in instructions, unless it's easier or necessary. My instructions will work within the Ubuntu system, instead of breaking or subverting it. Those are the three guarantees to the helpee.

    I would just rather stick with reconstructor. It allows you to do more stuff and customize your cd a bit better.
