would appreciate if you post your wvdial.conf file
and also a brief on the other steps. Did you have to make a new file in /etc/peers did you have to edit pap-secrets and chap-secrets did you have to uninstall any other modems , or references to them and if yes how ? am really struggling with this and if it works then for the first time I will be able to access the internet, from home, using linux instead windows thanks ram
