What books are you reading right now?

We need a Ubuntu Reading Club. Leave what you're reading, and find your next book.
Extra points if you leave a review of the book once you're done reading it.

    Rules:
    - If you're reading a religious text, please keep it to yourself. See CoC.
    - Same with political books.

I'll start off. Either/Or by Kierkegaard, and Kортик by Анатолий Рыбаков (Dirk by Anatolii Ribakov).

Not true. Many of us still prefer and read print books. Sorry, but I find tablets and e-books annoying to read. I hate staring at a screen for hours on end, and I like the feel of a book in my hands. http://readtheprintedword.org/

Currently reading Barbara Kingsolver's The Poisonwood Bible, an historical novel about the Congo's fight for independence from Belgium.

I also prefer reading books made of paper and use the local library monthly. I found this book at the library and had to comment on it.
I just finished The Good Thief..Hannah Tinti.

Ren,who is missing his left hand, is adopted from an orphanage and is introduced to the criminal
under world big time. The author takes the reader on a real roller coaster ride. I found this to be a real page turner with interesting characters one could identify with and enough plot twists to keep you begging for more.

Either/Or v1 is a treat although I've never made it to the second volume. Went straight to Fear and Trembling.

There is a story going round on Facebook that when given a real book, a pre-teen girl said it was a broken iPad.

A big and solid + 1 on that.
There is nothing like the feeling of opening a book after you bought it and the image of the inked words printed on its pages.
