Studying HTML with Vim

Hello all,

I am trying to use Vim while learning HTML5 but I keep getting syntax errors. I even downloaded the HTML5 omnicomplete plugin and have been unsuccessful. Am I missing something?

Try using gedit. It has syntax highlighting that auto-detects html.

I just like the look and feel of Vim. It plays much like a video game.

That's the first time I hear a comparison like this Most of the people I know would probably have a somewhat different expression on their faces when looking at Vim
