Both mouse and touch pad work in the live session, but after installing and booting from the hard drive, neither work. It looks like I am the only one with this problem and I don't know how to start on it.

I have the same problem on 2 different laptops. On the one I have a working install of ubuntu Precise. On the other I just installed xubuntu Quantal and it seems to work.

If somebody has an idea it would be appreciated. I will need the keyboard commands, if I don't have a mouse.
