What happened to the popup that allowed you to run,run in terminal or display file when clicking on an executable file in nautilus ? I'm running the gnome3 desktop.

It now defaults to display rather than ask, so if desired change in nautilus preferences > behavior

I'm sticking still with nautilus - pcmanfm drives me crazy with how folder/files are ordered, I'm very used to folders/hidden folders/files/hidden files
(could never figure how to have pcman do that...
For all root stuff I now just -
sudo -i
nautilus
or
sudo -i
gedit
ect.
(Ot - for now have abandoned the unity launcher in favor of plank, if I was to use GS I'd also use plank
