hi,
i want to know how to block adds from un wanted sites in firefox. when i use chrome in windows i do it by abp add on

you can get adblock plus from here:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/fir.../adblock-plus/
and, if you wish, there's also adblock plus pop-up addon:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/fir...-pop-up-addon/
I use both of them on my Firefox.

Nope, it has to be installed from within Firefox

The same addon is available for fx. Mozilla designed fx to make it simple to get addons. Doodle over to Tools/Add-ons, first. In the "get addons" page search for "ABP" or "adblock".

If you think you have found the right one after searching around, click install.

Addblock+ needs a list. It prompts choose one after install occurs. Don't forget...
