I'm currently running an Ubuntu 12.04 Installation that was upgraded from 10.04 over time. The phone I'm transferring music to is a Samsung Galaxy Nexus. The bluetooth sendfile is painfully slow; I've read a couple threads about this, and there is nothing promising yet.

Two of the threads I've read:

  1. Ridiculously slow file transfer
  2. Bluetooth is Very Slow

and various other dead beat threads.



The device in question is a Targus USB bluetooth module. I'm transferring at 10 kb/s. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
