    Dots in Youtube videos

Every single video I tried to play in Youtube has this little sparks or whatever they are. They are constantly moving, so it's kinda annoying.

Yesterday everything was fine, but today I updated (sudo apt-get update) and that shows up.

    • I have 24.0.1312.52 version.
    • It's only with YouTube. I've tried Vimeo and other webs.
    • It's only with Google Chrome, because it doesn't happen in Firefox
    • I've tried turning off all the extensions
    • I've tried incognito mode
    • I've tried rebooting my PC
    • I've tried deleting all the cookies
    • I've tried uninstall and reinstall google chrome
    • I've tried going turning on HTML5 for YouTube

    Any ideas?

EDIT: Also, I turned off Flash Player in google://plugins and it worked, but when I closed Chrome and opened it again, the dots came back. I haven't been able to do it again.

    Also here:
    Youtube Player Issue
The issue is I'm having multi-colored specs show up in videos (as seen in the image below). I have disabled all plugins, turned off hardware acceleration in flash and rebooted to no result.

Does anyone know what's causing this and maybe a solution? It's enough to drive me nuts because of course it doesn't happen on ads, only video and only on youtube.

I am also getting this issue.

This happens on Firefox, Chromium + Chrome and Opera. I have disables all add-ons etc. I have re installed the Ubuntu Restricted extras as well thinking it will update the flash objects etc there and hopefully fix them.

But the white dots have continued to annoy me i will keep trying to find something to fix it.

It doesn't address the OP's issues about the dots that some users of Chrome (with the Pepper Flash) are experiencing.

+1, having the same problem. Though I am not experiencing it with Firefox. I just installed google-chrome today, so I'm running a rather clean version.

I have the same problem since the update to chrome version 24.0.1312.52 with Flashplayer v. 11.5.31.137. Does anyone have a solution?

A possibly relevant bug is being tracked here: [Flickering rectangles like a swarm of bees when watching youtube and vimeo videos](http://code.google.com/p/chromium/is...tail?id=164555).
