    Stop checking for updates!

How do I stop my mythtbuntu systems from checking for updates? I just switched from mythdora and this is causing some issues. I do not want them to install automatically. Looks like it is checking for system updates.

Which package manager do you use? In most, you can turn off automatic updates. For example, if you use Synaptic, go to Settings > Repositories. In the Software Sources window that opens, go to the Updates tab and uncheck "Check for updates."
