Hello everybody,

merry x-mas and a happy new year for everybody.

I've just bought myself a Belkin Displayport to hdmi cable (both male) to hook up my Dell E6400 to my TV.

Funny thing is, it worked for about 3min or so. The moment i started tinkering with the sound output, my tv gave up on the signal.

Ever since, it has stopped working. I've tried to find an answer on the googles, but i'm lost.
I've tried to get the screen recognized, but no luck
I've tried to use the "fn" button in combo with F8 (wich worked fine the first time), but this won't work anymore. (detail: the system froze the first time)

Am i missing drivers? (i don't have any proprietary drivers installed)

Anybody have an idea what to do next?
