    Question Pointer Locks Randomly

Just installed Ubuntu 12.10 on a Lenovo 3000 n1000. Fairly often, approximately once every ten minutes, the pointer will lock. As in, whatever state it's in: clicked, right clicked, scrolling, selecting, etc, it stays in and won't change.

My temporary solution has been to disable and re-enable the trackpad using Touchpad Indicator through the terminal, but this is rather burdensome.

Very much appreciate any pointers or aid. Can post additional information if needed.

Been doing a little more research - is this possible a kernel bug?

    Re: Pointer Locks Randomly

I have taken a quick look and one suggestion is to switch to 2D. Apparently in some situations 2D is not affected and would give you a temporary solution until you find a proper fix. This assumes your running unity 3D. Hope that helps.
