And they are still calling the 64 bit version 64-bit Mac(AMD64) and amd64+mac.iso

I notice that the download page for 12.04 and 12.10 only gives two options - i386 and amd64.

And I have updated the U+1 Activities Planner as requested. Still some more work to do.
