When system is going up, it takes very long (around 15+ seconds) to show the unity-greeter. During that 15 seconds the screen is all blank with whole system being nearly quiet, then suddenly hard drive gets busy and the unity-greeter shows up.

This problem once happened long time ago and vanished upon a fix release of lightdm, which however appears again after recent upgrades.
