    Ubuntu Please Forgive me!

everybody knows that I was such a fool to ever let go of you
Baby I was wrong to delete you to install windows 7
Yeah I know I said we'd be better off alone but windows 7 is bad
It was time that we moved on but it was a mistake
I know I broke your heart, I didn't mean to break your heart
But baby here I am installing you on my hard drive again!

    Banging on your front door
My pride spilled on the floor
My hands and knees are bruised and I'm crawling back to you
    Begging for a second chance
Are you gonna let me in?
I was running from the truth and now I'm crawling back to you
    PLEASE FORGIVE ME UBUNTU

Being shown to Ubuntu and Linux was the best thing to happen to me....and now I try my best to lead others to that same salvation!

    PLEASE FORGIVE ME UBUNTU
Since Ubuntu isn't a conscious entity (at least I don't think so), it can neither forgive or pass judgement. Thus, there's no value or need in asking it's forgiveness.

For those users that require/need Windows (for what ever purpose), there's always the choice of dual booting and enjoy the benefits of both OS's. IMHO Windows isn't good or bad, it just is. It's been my experience, that all OS's have their strengths & weaknesses. But I'm glad your back and hope you continue enjoying Ubuntu or one of the other Canonical distro's.

Ubuntu is made by people with conscious, so this person is asking forgiveness from them.

Big assumption and jump. I can't speak for others, but I'm confident that one shouldn't attempt to define the motives of an entire group of people - at least not without knowing them personally. I'm not saying they are or aren't, just doesn't make sense (for me) to assume.

Ubuntu is a tool and much like some tools, it can multi-task - but it still remains a tool. The creative and imaginative mind of a human is what's required to build with said tool. I'm a big fan of Canonical, but not for the reason one may think. I value choice, and Canonical offers that by creating multiple supported distros (K,L,X, Standard) in an effort to meet the needs of many. That IMO is "one" of the true benefits for remaining under the Canonical umbrella.
