Select entire address with one click in Chrome

How do I configure Chrome so that I can select an entire address with one click in the address bar?

It is triple-click: one lets you edit, two selects the entire word, three selects the entire text.

I think henrywm was referring to using just one click and causing the URL to be highlighted. This makes it easier to either copy the URL or type in a new URL.

I too would like to know.

Control+L OR F6 both highlight the full URL. I would like to figure out how to get it to highlight in a single click. Didn't see anything in chrome://flags/ that appears to do this.
