Exclamation Ubuntu box launching Dos Attacks!!?

    Hello all,

I check my wireless router's logs (Netgear N600) every now and then, and this is what I find disturbing:

    Code:
[DoS attack: STORM] attack packets in last 20 sec from ip [10.0.0.5], Thursday, Aug 16,2012 16:10:38
[DoS attack: STORM] attack packets in last 20 sec from ip [10.0.0.5], Thursday, Aug 16,2012 16:10:17
[DoS attack: STORM] attack packets in last 20 sec from ip [10.0.0.5], Thursday, Aug 16,2012 16:09:56
The ip shown above is my Ubuntu box.
Should i worry too much? is this a false-positive? or do i need to inspect my box?

    thanks.

I would definitely check your box, but being honest I the information from your router is not enough to identify the issue.

You may want to run a packet capture if you can.
