Network Audio transmission
I am wondering if there's a way to transmit audio from 1 pc to another in realtime(or close enough).
Here is my setup. I have a HTPC running ubuntu that is hooked up to my speakers. It sits on the same network as my laptop which runs windows 7.
I like to play games on my laptop and it would be excellent if I could forward the audio to the htpc without buying any more hardware(the other option is a Bluetooth audio receiver or something along those lines, but that's much less fun
)
is there any way to do this? right now I can ssh into the htpc and play music using it's music player with x11 tunneling, which is really nice.
