Asus 1015PN Netbook - Can't Connect To Internet
I have tried to connect to the internet with Ubuntu 10.04.4 & 12.04, but haven't had any luck.
This is what I do.... I disconnect the ethernet cable from my desktop computer and connect it to my netbook. When I do that, it acts like it's connecting, and after a few seconds it disconnects. It keeps doing this automatically, and I just can't connect.
I probably have to mess around with the configs, but I have no idea what to do since am no computer genious and am relatively new to linux.

Have you tried disableing and the re-enabling networking? It does the trick for me on my wifi (until recently..). EDIT: its back now: changed router settings
