12.04 Asus U31SD lock instead of suspend

    Hi all,

Today I've upgraded my Asus U31sd to Ubuntu 12.04 beta 2 and I'm struggling with the suspend/hibernate functionalities.Whether I use the FN key or I use the power-key (and select "suspend"), it still only locks the computer.

Whenever I log back in I can see the wireless was disconnected (it connected immediately after login).

I've been searching Google for hours now but I still cannot find any solution.

    Help appreciated!

    Thanks,
    dare92

This might indicate a problem with Suspend To RAM on your system. Have you been able to suspend it using any other means (e.g. running sudo pm-suspend)?

Edit: Sorry, I see you pressed the suspend key. I had misread at first.
