hp probook 4530s wireless connection problem

hi,

i tried installing both ubuntu 12.04 and linux mint 13 on my hp probook 4530s. everything went well except for one problem:

i cannot connect to the internet via wireless router.

i really need help on this. the other suggestions on other threads did not work for me.

Did you ever solve your problem?

Solutions on other threads seem to centre around not getting any connection. I can connect to wireless for about a minute before it drops out and won't connect again. To me that doesn't appear to be a driver issue.

No problem with wired or bluetooth connections though.
