Screen flickers while booting Ubuntu 10.4

I have installed Ubuntu 10.4 in my Dell Vostro 1015, some days before. While booting my screen flickers for a long. flickering screen appear for a long time in each booting. As I am anew user in Ubuntu please help me out.My graphics card details

I'm also having similar kind of problem. what's wrong with it? i've also installed ubuntu 10.04

System ---> Admin ---> Hardware Drivers

This should indicate if there are any Proprietary Drivers that need to be installed. If none are found, you need to somehow use a windows driver.

I used ndiswrapper once, when I needed to install a Windows driver for a usb wireless adapter. It worked.
