html opens with rekonq altho firefox = standard file association

I am running Kubuntu 11.10. Using Firefox for web browsing etc. and using the file association application I have made Firefox the first default application for html and htm files (followed by Chromium, Geanry, Kate). I even removed rekonq from that list, but when I double-click onto an htm(l) file in the file browser, it opens in rekonq. Any hints on how to avoid that?

try this: from the control panel go to "default applications" > "Web browser" and choose another browser
