Angry ID3 Tags Not Present from CD

I've got quite a lot of CDs that I'd like to import to Ubuntu but it's not work the hassle because for some reason Banshee doesn't seem to recognise the ID3 tags. Everything just appears as unknown artist/album/etc. And it's not just a Banshee problem either, they don't appear in Nautilus either.

    Audio CD's don't have tags built-in.

I used the ripperx software from the repositories and found that it did a perfect job of ripping all of my CD's and tagging them using the cddb.

Get it in the software centre or via synaptic package manager

    hope this helps.

They do, if I insert a CD in Windows all my players load the track information absolutely no problem and thats always been the case.
