GSM application to make calls using PC speaker/MIC
Hello
I have a 3G usb modem with interfaces ttyuSB0- ttyUSB4, AT , DATA and voice interface each.
I find Wammu like applications can read messages and contacts. I need to make call with PC/MIC and speaker. (viz huweai mobile partner allows this for new modem)
I there any Linux application allowing to do this
my AT interface is ttyUSB2
voice PCM data ttyUSB0 @ 8khz

I have been looking for such a framework for such and this morning i came across freeswitch Which seems to support calling and receiving calls from your GSM modem. Ive already downloaded will be compiling later tonight. check its wikipage http://wiki.freeswitch.org/wiki/GSMopen

Good god, a whole PBX for simple voice calls through an USB modem? I hope there is a simpler solution...Did you find any alternatives?
