    Exclamation High temprature and freezing

Hi, I am new to Ubuntu and I love it, its great. I use a HP Pavilion DV7 laptop AMD Turion X2 64. it was working just fine, but during the pas 5 days my system freezed 3 times, what I mean it has no reasponse to mouse , keyboard anything.... the only action I can take is a hard reboot and whenever I run the sensors command usually the result is above 60 C

    acpitz-virtual-0
    Adapter: Virtual device
    temp1: +60.0°C (crit = +100.0°C)

    k10temp-pci-00c3
    Adapter: PCI adapter
    temp1: +70.0°C (high = +70.0°C, crit = +115.5°C)

But I dont feel the loud noise of fun or heat on my laptop
    so any advice?

    Re: High temprature and freezing

DV7-6C here but with I7 CPU. Similar problem happens here with all my Linux & Windows operating systems. Need to do EXACTLY as you do, at each time.

It matters not whether the cooling fan on noisy (on fast). 60+ temperature is common here, & the cooling fan always lowers the temperature. If it can't, the notebook will automatically stop.

After each "emergency stop", choose the "repair" option on reboot. Each (advanced) op system self-corrects as best it can if you do not. But auto-self-correct is not always enough.
