I have installed Ubuntu 11.10 and it is working pretty well. One problem though is that applications manually added to the menu, are not available in the properties menu of that file, where you can choose a default application for the chosen filetype. Before that was no problem since it was possible to choose a custom command.

I do not see this option in 11.10, and I hope someone here knows how to fix this.
