    VMware 4.0.0 is released

    Yes, and it works beautifully in 11.10 and 11.04. Haven't tried it in 10.10, all x64.

    I notice that 3.1.5 is out for i386, and not 4.0.0.

    Had a look at your /etc/rc0.d and rc6.d scripts recently?
